December 19, 2011:News about the OS X version!
The porting to OS X goes very well, the user interface is fully functional. We expect that a beta version will be available at the end of January. Please note that the OS X version will not be a separate product, all customers will get both the Windows and Mac OS X versions.
December 19, 2011:RapidComposer VST released and the standalone updated to v1.8!
This major update includes the long-awaited VST version with 128-channel MIDI output. The rewrite of the manual has begun, from today it is available only in pdf format. The standalone version has some minor features and fixes for several bugs.
August 15, 2011: RapidComposer (and LE) was updated to v1.75!
This major update features a rewritten ASIO handler, and several usability improvements asked by our users on the support forum, as well as bug fixes.
May 31, 2011: RapidComposer (and LE) was updated to v1.7!
This update adds line drawing on the piano roll. Notes are inserted and aligned smartly with several snap and filtering options. Many new chord progressions added, and now the chord progressions are sorted by their complexity. There were improvements in the harmonization menu, and a few sample phrases were added.
May 3, 2011: RapidComposer (and LE) was updated to v1.6!
This is the biggest major update in the short history of RapidComposer. (We celebrated the first birthday in April!) With new ways of chord selection, the rewritten progression editor with chord suggestions, harmonization improvements, new variations, RapidComposer is more complete and solid than ever. The UI offers clever and unique ways of displaying overlapped notes. Several bugs were fixed.
January 24, 2011: RapidComposer (and LE) was updated to v1.5!
With this major update the editing workflow has been improved and several new piano roll view options were implemented. Changing chord notes visually is now possible while phrases and notes are updated realtime. You won't find this in any other DAW. Another unique feature is that you can store the state of a VSTi plug-in as an instrument that you can use later, even for plug-ins that do not expose their presets. This update has about a dozen new features!
December 6, 2010: RapidComposer (and LE) was updated to v1.44!

November 24, 2010: RapidComposer LE released!
Due to popular demand we made a light edition (LE) of RapidComposer available for serious hobbyist musicians and composers. RapidComposer LE is available immediately for USD 99. LE customers can upgrade to the full version with a substantial discount (for USD 196).
November 24, 2010: RapidComposer v1.4 released!
The latest major update with fully customizable user interface, and rewritten VSTi plug-in handling that fixes all stability problems and made VSTi support rock solid! Other changes: improved loop playback and recording, tap tempo, fractional tempo can be specified for any structural unit, ASIO configuration improvements.

The biggest update until now is available immediately! This new version has many impovements and new features like MIDI CC editing and recording, articulations support, phrase and note preview during editing, improved editing in the composite track, and many smaller features and bug fixes.

We are happy to announce the availability of RapidComposer, our unique music prototyping application. We hope that many composers, song-writers and musicians will find this tool helpful in the creative process of music composition.
